In Germany, in contrast to some other European countries, osteopathy is not covered by public health insurers. Patients which are insured through a public insurance company therefore need to pay for the costs of an osteopathic treatment themselves. Patients which are privately insured or those who have additional insurance often get their costs partially or fully reimbursed. It is best to ask your insurer whether the costs will be reimbursed.

Currently, the costs of a session amount to between €70 and €120.
