Conditions of Membership

With less than 6 years of work with children: training of osteopathy for children of at least 400 contact hours according to the European Guidelines of the International Network of Pediatric Osteopathy (Download here).

2. With more than 6 years of work with children:

  • Proof of 300 further training contact hours in the area of osteopathy for children (Vojta-, Bobath-training courses, etc. are credited partially)
  • Publications, as well, can be partially credited
  • Within the first year of membership: Compilation of 3 case studies, ca. 2 pages per case study, 400 words per page: medical indication, osteopathic indication, discussion of indications, therapy, conclusion
  • Within the first year: Participation in courses (2x2 days) of clinical work with children


3. From 2011 onwards: only as under 1.

4. Osteopaths, which are currently in training to become osteopaths for children, pay a reduced membership fee of €90. They are marked with the add-on "i.T." (i.e. in training).

Osteopaths for children on the list of therapists participate in at least one further training day in the area of osteopathy for children per year or in two days of further training within two years. The proof of participation is to be given without request.
